Detainees are crafting new paths

So inspiring as Portuguese experience, RECLUSA, in Brasil, embroiderer and designer, Camila Testa integrates the team of crafts workshops that the H360 carries out in the Penitentiary Feminine 2 of Tremembé. Supporting the work of Renato Imbroisi and Cristiana Barretto, who coordinate these workshops, she collaborates so that the prisoners succeed in creating the first cooperative of detainees in the state of São Paulo.

If someone knows any other experience on empowering detainees and giving them another chance in life through artisanship and handmade work, please let us know.
