La Fabrique Nomade

The UNHCR published a special story written by Kamilia Lahrichi and Bela Szandelszky  on 13 November 2017 about La Fabrique Nomade. Another inspiring initiative using crafts and design to empower forcibly displaced people based in France. The project also aims to contribute “to allow them to transmit their knowledge” as Inès Mesmar, founder, says.

Their project is supported by several organisations such as the UNHCR, the Institut National de Métiers d´Art, and the Mairie de Paris.

Since they launched the initiative, several articles has been written about their experience at Liberation, Le Parisien, and France Inter.

Discover more information about their experience in their website or follow them on facebook.
