TASA (Técnicas Ancestrais Soluções Atuais) is a project aimed at enhancing and innovating arts and crafts from the Portuguese region of the Algarve. Moreover, TASA is a call for reflecting about local heritage preservation. It´s a innovative cultural restoration with a socioeconomic purpose.

In the framework of this project, it´s planned to launch a programme for supporting products to get introduced in the market, for example, in well-known shops as A Vida Portuguesa; a programme for training and awareness raising, and a research programme.

Portugal is rich in terms of culture and handicrafts. Iniciatives like TASA are particularly relevant and the identification and restablishment of craftmanship and portuguese artisan techniques it´s more than a simple need.

Big success to TASA.
